Dear Ms. Gail and Master Bae:
I wanted to send you a note to let you know how much your program has helped my nephew over the last year. A little over a year ago, my husband and I took custody of a very nervous, hyperactive and overweight 7-year-old boy. Our nephew, Frankie, had never been to camp or had a play date or played any sports. His teachers were concerned about his behavior and impulsivity. One of his teachers suggested we involve him in swimming or Tae Kwon Do. I started looking for a Tae Kwon Do Studio and I checked out several before walking into your beautiful, clean and friendly studio. We started him in your Introductory Program and he was hooked after the first class. It didn’t take long for Frankie to “get with the program” and when that light bulb went off he really started to improve. He was able to listen and follow directions. He stopped jumping around and stood still as a new form or kick was explained to him. We started to come to the Saturday morning Character Development classes where the tenets of Tae Kwon Do (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self control and Indomitable Spirit) were reinforced and explained in small age appropriate groups.
Frankie is now an honor roll student and only occasionally brings home a behavior “Think Sheet”. He has lost weight and now wears a smaller size than when he came to live with us. He can go with us to restaurants, movies and homes of friends without us fearing for the worst. He still has a lot to learn but his progress is remarkable. He is happy and active and loves going to Tae Kwon Do. We joined the Black Belt Club six months ago because Frankie loves coming to practice and he really wants to reach his goal of being a Black Belt.
Thank you for all you are doing to instill good life values and the importance of exercise for the young people in your program.
Sincerely,
Marlene E. Rossen
When my son entered the 3rd grade he had a difficult time with self control. He was often bullied and found himself in situations he was unable to handle. As the year progressed his teacher saw a marked improvement in his ability to handle social situations and commented on it. My son told her that he had "A Master Bae!" The teacher later asked me,"where can I get A Master Bae for my entire class!"

Due to the type of work I do I see a growing number of older people, men and women, finding themselves victims of crimes. Unfortunately in our society today there are elements that prey on the elderly. I have chosen not to become one of those victims. I began classes at U S TAE KWON DO CENTER at the age of 60. I get wonderful exercise as I am being taught mental and physical control under the watchful eye of excellent teachers. Master Bae keeps an eye on everyone in his classes, making sure his students are being taught correctly but not being asked to perform moves before they are ready.
